the heater/air con system in the Puma is fine for the UK but I think the aircon will struggle in Aus like the 110,but better than the previous knee chiller system

no you didn't Ron but you were carrying on about not being able to hear the radio due to noise so there for you are ill informed...as the Pumas are very quiet, the poster is talking about puma 90's thats why the guy was asking if you had driven one as we all know you haven't

you think the classics are superior because thats what floats your boat..however there is no way a puma would be less superior to a classic rangie or D1 in my honest opinion but thats because I like defenders....

my D1 is a comfy ride.....but the biggest down side is its not a defender
Our Land Rover does not leak oil! it just marks its territory.......

C'mon let's compare oranges with oranges, remembering some like apples and others a nice pear.
Now work out which piece of fruit relates to what model?

    Hey Ron,

Didn't your mum tell you that if you had nothing nice to say then don't say anything at all?

If it wasn't for these nibble little buggers you wouldn't even have a Rangie or a Disco. They are the heart and soul of LR and the rightful incarnation of the Serries I.

People like different cars for different reasons. Is it not fair that someone can state their excitement and desire for one of these without being shot down and told they are wrong? Which LR deity died and put you in charge? #

If I didn't have 3 little kiddies I'd be there in a flash although I think I would prefer the soft top version Is there any reason you can't unbolt the roof from the hard top version? (Is the windscreen welded???)

    Cheers,

Drive the Puma all the time in temperatures over 30C and have driven in temperatures over 46C and the A/C is very good. Been in snow and sub-zero all day down as low as about -10C and they heater is very good (it also warms the hand brake as an added heat sink).

You sound like you need a comfy ride after that tanty, Ron's just cranky cause he sold his County. Perhaps he needs his "D1" serviced so he can ride comfy.
