Second best according to my wife. I had split rims made and fitted cross plies for bush work around here. Every trip up until recently i have managed to destroy at least one Cooprichyearlop radial type tyre. Gets expensive at over $300 each. The last couple of trips I have not had one flat tyre - just jinxed myself - and if the radio is loud enough I don't even hear the road noise or my missus. I know this is not every ones cup of tea but for practical purposes where we drive this is the best mod I have done and the all up cost per wheel, tyre, rust band and tube was less than one Wrangler.
50 mm additional offset as well
and yes my mudflap is stuffed.

$20 each for 100 series split rims - 1 given to me, 9 in total.
$140 each to have them made - Summerfield Engineering, Perth.
$180 each tyre- could have got them cheaper, but bought local.
$340 total, just under what I was quoted for new Wranglers/Coopers. I can now run road biased tyres on the standard rims and swap to these when we go bush. I have it down to 11 minutes to swap 4 wheels and the spare on the rack so its no issue when we are going bush for a few days to change them. I have them on the camper as well so 3 spares when we go camping. I wouldn't run them on bitumen for too long - noise and wear - but they certainly make heading off track a lot less painfull.

Are the centres just a laser cut disc, or do they have some profile/form to them???
