Interview with the RFS on local radio a few minutes ago said things were looking better this morning - but things may change if the wind gets up.

I hope they get it all behind very solid containment lines before Tuesdays weather.

    Forecast for Tuesday
Cloudy periods with isolated showers developing in the south. Fine elsewhere. Very warm to hot. Areas of raised dust. Windy with northwest winds ahead of a southwest change.

Orange : Mostly fine. Windy. Min: 14 Max: 33
Katoomba : Mostly fine. Min: 14 Max: 32

My guess that would put Bathurst somewhere around 36 - 37.

Tuesdays computer modelling (at the moment) puts Dubbo at Catastrophic Fire Danger and Bathurst at Severe.

This is the link but I don't think you will get to it.

Great! Everything going to plan I will be on the train to Sydney on Tuesday (doctor's appointment in Sydney) - but it makes you worry about leaving home!

No, you need to be a registered user to get it.
