Are any of you members of the LR Club of Victoria or for that matter any other state and do they offer driving courses for members? I used to be with Nissan Patrol Club of Vic and they did basic training as part of their requirements for members to be able to join their outings.

Yep - I'm a member of LROCV - and they do offer all sorts of courses - basic driving - advanced - recovery techniques - chain saw course - first aid etc ... I would imagine most clubs offer such services.

LROCV are now offering intermediate courses too, which is as far as many wish to go.

Have searched the forum for the answer, however the search function is frustrating.

The LR experience course or any of the LR 4wding courses, how do you get on them?
Just awaiting my D4 to be delivered in Nov, and would like to undertake the LR training day. Is this supplied by the dealer?

Any direction or help appreciated.

The various dealership hold them from time to time, roughly twice a year. ULR/MLR have one tomorrow at Melbourne 4x4 Training centre near Mt Cottrell (`35km west of Melbourne). Try to get them to throw one in with teh vehicle.
