    There is 3 issues here.
    1. if the car is not in warranty who cares.
    2. if it is in warranty they would first have to decide to test it after you stuff your engine and they decide it was the fuel that caused the issue.
    3. if they did, I doubt it, although 1:200 is not a a tiny percentage, but the oil is essentially mixing with other oil. I dont know exactly how many types of wholesale diesel resellers can buy but if there are a few to choose from they would all slightly vary as well.

You are making the oil more greasy which is what any diesel engine prefers anyway. If they did find the diesel was changed to a state in which it provides a better burn and offers more protection for the injectors and pump it may be hard for them to say that ruined the engine.

I filled my 300TDI yesterday and for the first time saw the notice that it was 20% biodiesel. No worries as mine loves it.I found that out in WA a couple of years ago runs cleaner and purrs better to.

Rockhampton doesnt even have a landrover dealer yet I can go to our local landrover specialist mechanic for parts and if he doesnt have what I want on the shelf its delivered the next day.

I know for a fact that Townsville has a great big toymota HQ based there and yet they cant even get parts. Pretty pathetic and yet people still wait months just to get a new one just because they Jones' got one.

I bet if Mr Jones had any sense he would have gotten Mrs Jones the new Discovery that she would have much preferred. Perhaps things might change a bit when Disco 4 takes out all the awards again.

The use of 2-stroke oil certainly works, but gawd that would make for expensive fills of the fuel tank if that was your only option!!! I use Motul 510 for my road/track bike (Cagiva), and that's $70 for a 4lt container at mates rates! The bike chews through the stuff, so dread to think how much a V8 Cruiser would rip through in a few weeks.

I think it would be very expensive to run your car on with a dash of 2 stroke oil though. anyone know the current price of kero/litre? I remember a few guys in the darling downs area running their fordson tractors on "contaminated" avtur. sometimes we had to do wing changes on the pilatus porters on the run and there would tewnty or thirty 20litre drums from the defuel there for anyone to take home.
Aviation fuel for prop drive engines is basically kerosene, but Jet A1 fuel is completely different and is more like a high performance diesel product. I found this out for definate the other day when checking out a strip for RFDS transfers and there was a drum of Jet A1 there for a jet and red some specs on it.

I think it may work, may try it on the next tank. After all diesel is pretty much just a very light oil.
