    Running in a new TD4

    Hi All,

Finally get to pick upi the Freelander SE on saturday. Will be driving it from brisbane to bundy on sunday - is there an 'accepted' break-in procedure for these motors? (As a member of the VW TDI club, there were several huge threads on this matter - I can find none here).

If anyone could point me to existing threads here I'd be grateful.

    Thanks - can't wait!

With modern engines and oils there is not the need to "run in" an engine as there was in days past, basicly, don't flogg it. The dealer and/or hand book should be able to advise you best.
If you don't like trucks, stop buying stuff.
