    Antique Motor Cycle rally Sunday - Dandenong Ranges Vic

    Not Landy related, but Tomorrow Sun 13/12/2009 the Local AJS and Matchless motor cycle club is having a rally throughout the district, starting from Upper Fern Tree Gully and travelling to Berwick,Cockatoo to Launching Place and Monbulk. I'm towing the Brake down Vehicle (Disco). So if you see us give us a wave. If you interested in Old Bikes keep your eye out for us. Please be patient some of these bikes are from the 1920s.

    The Rally went well, the weather held up only a couple of spits.
    I ended up towing one Bike, a Single Matchless, oil feed problem, I think he siezed the Motor ascending a steep hill at Yellingbo.

    My mate's is the black AJS 1953. He's working on a authentic Resto on a 1927 at the moment. I'm not into bikes, but to see 20 odd grown men get their thrills out of seeing a couple of nickle plated bike parts on a resto, reminds me that every one has their passion. I probably get excited over old Landy stuff.
