This has been awful as the wife and kids loved him as well. This has been a hard few weeks for us. as I had to put the kids pony down as well

I'm usually a hard bastard but this has busted me this time.

My sympathy mate, I know what you are going through. I lost my old mate (red cattle dog) a few years ago and still havent replaced him. He grew up with our kids and I guess I just never imagined the day he wouldn't be there. It was a sad day and I have him laid to rest in the back yard. Its a sad time when you have had them for a long while - one day I will get around to getting another one, but not just yet. My thoughts are with you.....Regards.........Brian

Truly sorry to hear it mate . To lose a 4 legged buddy can be like loosing an arm . They love you no matter what and they are by your side all the way . Again sorry to hear it mate . Always think of the good times .

at least it sounds like Reg had a good innings.....and there'll be good memories
