    Exactly - why get third party info when you can get it direct from the source?

    That said, I do use the WeatherZone Tracker widget because it is handy.

    I find it isn't as user friendly as some other weather sites. I tend to visit weatherzone.

    Thanks Hodgo,

    Some of the work I do involves research into undersize lobsters which involves actually catching and measuring them.

    Lobster fishing (with pots) successfully requires accurate swell and wind info at least 48 hrs in advance.

    BOM is absolute rubbish for this. Even the free version of buoyweather is always spot on.

    It will be interesting to see how willyweather compares with buoyweather as far as accuracy goes. It certainly loads a lot faster and has a lot of other info like tides at your fingertips.

    Where I live I have to rely on Sheppartons forcast.

    This one actually does Tatura.
