They are one of the ugliest cars on the road.
This is how they usually end up when they go off road - they need a Mitsu****ty Tritoo recovery vehicle to accompany them.

I already have the best looking and the most capable off road vehicles ever built.... The RRC and the 120"
That's why mine has 32" tyres fitted. Still not much use for any severe off road though due to lack of long travel suspension and the huge rear over hang. But a lot better than a car
Seems to plow through this black mud here no worries.
Actually that is my brothers Tritoo - nothing like a bit of sibling rivalry.
It is the older 3.2 engine which is a gem with the factory upgrades to the ecu. It goes really well on the sand (just the goose driving was a worry) and generally does pretty well everywhere else as long as great ground clearance is not required. His front "heavy duty" bash plate did get damaged by the sand on this trip.
I am not sure why Mitsubishi changed to the new 2.5 litre engine but reports are it is good - would have to be extra good to be better than the old one.
They are still butt ugly though - not like my 101.

I'd volunteer a review but it'd start to sound like a porno.
Without getting into auto v manual debate, why the manual Tony?
