Andy, you seem to be labouring under the misunderstanding that I am anti-Volvo. Nothing could be further from the truth, mate. Prior to becoming a proud and happy Land Roverite, for ten years I was an extremely satisfied Volvophile, three times. Volvo also offered the second best truck ever built, and I was very comfortable in the A 35 I used to operate.

I do object to Luddites who have never been in a Volvo having a cheap shot. They urinate over any Falcadore for safety, appointments and solid engineering. When my kids were at school, they wanted the car left up the street if they were being picked up. My son has now never owned a registered car that was not a Volvo.

A mate had a Volvo station wagon for a short while.It was a 5 cyl petrol from memory turbo too,it was a flyer,surprised me when I had a turn.He had it for a week and a half before a tree jumped out.Being a Vulva despite being destroyed he didnt recieve a scratch.Still we call him a true Volvo driver.It was the newer round shape not the older square shaped vulvas.
