4x4 Insurance - 99 Defender 110 TD5
Hey guys...
I was just wondering if there is anyone who would recommend their insurance company for insuring a vehicle for offroad use? At the moment I am with RAC but not covered on non-gazetted roads. TCIS wouls only insure my defender for $12,000 & only 50% of that price in accessories (6K). The vehicle is worth more than that (and not just to me) when you consider what was on it when i purchased it... anyone else got a insurance company i should try?
cheers.

Give a few insurance brokers a call for a comparison. I have a modified SIII stage 1. The insurance brokers insured me for a reasonable price when the mainstream companies wouldn't touch me.

I shopped around for quite a while until i found affinity, they are an insurance broker in Melbourne. From the info I came across they are 1 of only a couple insurers that will insure your vehicle regardless where it is aslong as you have the right to be there, ie on a private property if you have permission & have an acident you will be covered. They also have good premiums, i saved $350 compared to my last one. They also cover contents of your vehicle. www.affinityib.com.au or 03 8587 7777.
I'm not affiliate with this company, just providing my feedback.
