If they made it a pipeline, like the Kalgoorlie pipeline, they would really have something. If CY O'Connor could do it 100 years ago, why can't we do it now? That would be project that would transform Western Australia and make it the powerhouse state of the nation.Quote:

Did O'Connor's plan bankrupt the state? Where would WA be without the Kalgoorlie pipeline? Has the gold output alone from Kal paid back the cost of the pipeline so many times over ...?? Never mind the establishment and benefits of the city of Kalgoorlie-Boulder. And of the towns around. And ... The pipeline was a brilliant investment that keeps on paying dividends!Quote:
