    Well iwas going to put a pic up but shes not abandoned or scrap but she has enuff metal in her & she is getting old...(hey fatty)..

    1969 LWB S2a yellow, gone

    Here's one found off the bottom end of the Birdsville Track, not Land Rover, don't know what it is though the writing on the gearbox may give a clue.
    At Lake Harry, Birdsville Track, SA.





    This was at the site of an old date farm established/failed about 1917, from memory.

    Dean, did you stop at Clayton Spa and Mungerannie Pub?

    PS as for the car it was george (??oldfield) car and apparently last trip was rabbit trapping in 60's... so Im told... Ill remember his correct name soon....its not oldfield, he only died recently...
