D3 vs Commodore ute: And the winner is.....

This is what happens when you tailgate a D3 coming up to a set of traffic lights.

Notice the dent in the nudge bar from the D3's recovery point.

Using genuine LR replacement prices I would dare to say thats about $8k damage to the rear of the D3

Yep same happened to Jamo a while back. Commodore pretty much a write off and only a couple of scratches on Jamo's rear bar.

    Nasty... Good work there Mark!

You should talk to your insurance company about repairing with a Rear Bar.

Gps-au - I doubt it... My FL2 sufferred much worse when it was hit by a cruiser and the total was 7k. That included a new tailgate and front and rear bars.

I would think so. I was stopping for an amber, travelling west on Nerang Broadbeach Rd at Bermuda St. Not an intersection I try to run a light on He was tailgating and not paying attention.

    always the person behinds fault!
so what's the actual damage report on the D3? is that a bit of something hanging off underneath, or is that from his car?
