Question A New Aulro Land Rover Calendar?

Would you be interested in a new Aulro Land Rover calendar?

Discussion on another thread would suggest there is many (some?) of us that would like to get a new calendar for 2011.

In 2008 Dullbird put together a fantastic 2009 calender with various shots entered by aulro members. (Members entered photos and we all voted for the winners.)

Dullbird would be willing to do it again, but we need to help.

    How?

By entering various pictures of Land Rovers in different poses. (Minimum 5mp - we need the HQ shots for A3 size)

Many of you who saw, or purchased, the 2009 Calendar were very impressed. I was very proud of mine and it had a prominent position in our office. Unfortunately Dullbird tried to get it going again last year but for many reasons (mainly lack of entries) it didn't happen for 2010.

I would love to get a new one happening, but we need to gauge some interest from you guys.

So please vote above and let us know whether it is a worthwhile venture.

(They are sold for a few bucks with all profits going to aulro)

Thanks for your time (and vote)

Here's a little flashback of the 2009 Calendar for those who missed it.

Well, that fell off the front page pretty quick.
Perhaps with only a dozen or so interested it wouldn't be worth it.
One last bump and then we might put this idea to bed.

We only need 12 pictures anyway .

There's not too many pictures of my car off road so I'll have to submit my photos of others.

What's the minimum pixel count required for a photo?

I will put forward some pics and buy calendar(s), but we need to improve the adding of pictures for judging. Maybe just have a thread for each topic and then we can link to Photobucket.

I managed to get pictures uploaded easily in 08, but last year seemed to be a nightmare.

I'll defer to Dullbird for the technical stats - 5mp was the minimum.
Yeah that's true. Although would be nice to have at least 5 entries for each category. (60 entries). Dullbird sold about 50 last time.

Thanks Ps7 - I am told those problems wont occur this time. (Yeah I know, and "The cheque is in the mail" ) I believe we have a separate category for calendAr stuff. I don't see these things as insurmountable problems.
