Landies are tough, but don't like ruts

It still amazes me that you can't drive a Disco over corrugations faster than 20kph without setting off the damn inertia switch.
I've even replaced the inertia switch with a new one, but still trips occassionally .
Seems useless that you can't drive on a graded track at a normal speed without tripping it off. My be the Poms never graded their green lanes

I hardly think that corrugated roads - particularly those for road-train corrugations were high on the list of design parameters at Solihull.

You won't find me on: faceplant; Scipe; Infragam; LumpedIn; ShapCnat or Twitting. I'm just not that interesting.

Ruts and washouts were always a problem especially in the D1 but never corrugations. They'd shake everything apart but never set the tremble switch off in either D1 or D2 and believe me they both did some corrugated roads.

Must admit that I use a LOT of very corrugated roads at a variety of speeds and never had a problem with the inertia switch on my D2......(I'm not saying that you have not)

No problems here, including Strez and Tele tracks.

If it does the same as on a fuel truck, it cuts the power while the vehicle is inverted.

If you don't know what it does they can charge more for a replacement.
