yota-yobbos and Lawance 'Bogan' of Arabia was the driver. Is wearing undies on your head fashionable?
Apart from crappy camera work, what is the problem?
you mean apart from "what if someone was coming the other way over the dune" potential problem.
its that kind of idiot behavior that gives the "but think of the baby submicroscopic organisms that our last lot of investigations revealed exist in 10s of gazilions that dont suffer all that much but might be killed anyway" brigade of do gooder "I cannot abide by people enjoying themsleves in any other way than I consider fun" (which usually means not showering for months on end and smoking dope while sayin woahh maaahn a lot) environazis amunition to ensure that they can twist the arm of the politicians so that they close access to the places that we like to go and go sensibly.
if I posted up dozens of vids demonstrating a perfectly sane 2low on low pressure tyres how many hits do you think they'd collectively get compared to that one hoon clip?
I like think of it like drag racing. In a properly controlled cordoned off area have at it but not in the open public.
Lighten up everyone, what was wrong with it? They had spotters on the dune when making their approach. Bit of harmless Sunday fun. I'm quite sure that most of us have done the same or worse over the years. I still do stupid things afterall i've been married 3 times
:D
I know what you mean. (reminds me of neighbourhood music playing at night. I get all cranky, then realise it's only 9pm, and some people actually have a life and friends, unlike this cranky old barstool.:()
It appears they had plenty of spotters on the dunes to prevent any collisions, and no damage was being done to the environment. A few tyre marks in the dunes will be all blown over in a day or two.
If they were cutting down the scrub, or digging great bogholes, or terrorising the public.............. then "have at 'em". Just appears to be relatively harmless fun, with the exception of some damage to their own vehicles.
Realy the only un safe thing i saw was no seat belts they had plenty of room and were not doing crazy speeds .
My self and others ive take up the beach have done similar and will continue to do so as long as its done safe its ok .
As for the 40KPH speed limit on the beach that is the most stupid rule out there as 99% of dunes which are traversed from lavis lane to the beach front require more speed just to get up them .
If this tosser in the video flipped his POS "4WD" and died, there would be a big hoo-har, beach would be closed to cars and Australia would become even more of a lame place to live if you like offroading.
A kiwi bro no less...... beached AS :D
did that snatch strap have a knot in the middle ?
well, not to worry about just tie the ratty thing on to what appears to be the tie down point nd tug her out
....heaven help us.
