the 2.5 na is an ideal candiate for series use and the alterntor alone is worth its weight in gold.
definately interested if he winds up parting stuff out.
hi guys anyone interested in 56x pre-loved land rover 110's soft top new canvas !!
I found them a few weeks back and have been trying to broker a deal with the guy.
As you can see they are ex military and would still have Australian landing fees dunno what these are yet will call a shipping agent.
Draw back they are 2.5 N.A. not defender 2.5 tdi
I would suggest that the foot well needs some fabrication.
The dumb arse tried to tell me they were 1990's land rover Defenders.
They are supossed to be around 60,0000 odd miles on the clock.
I reckon i can get them for 7-8kAUD top line maybe cheaper.
Thought they might do a good turn for someone trying to get hold of a landy for the first time.
Should i get any other info i will post it.
Pictures attached ...i hope... regards Andy

dave whole motors, only stuff broken is following:Price for engine is US$1800
Axle are US$950 per pair. plus shipping i am guessing and also i would guess it would be more faverable shipping wise to be in the west N.T. or maybe QLD
Thing is dave i guess we have use our powers of mass purchase here so we all get a slice of the cake
sounds interesting
mmm thinking
I doubt that they can be imported to be registered.
We covered this a few times regarding cheap Japanese delivered Landies(Rangies,Defenders,Discos).
Unfortunateley to import they need to be cut in half before they are shipped was the general concensus.

Lots of info here: Eligibility Criteria
You can import any vehicle manufactured before 1 January 1989 without restriction, but you still need a Vehicle Import Approval for it to enter Australia ...
just fit them all with hand controls and import them as disability needs vehicles is a bit of a loop hole
