Hi Garry,
If I've read your post correctly, the option you are after is called "Course Up" and can be found under the "Map Display" menu.
See here for more details.
Cheers,
On my GPS that is loaded with Oziexplorer CE the direction arrow either points to the top of the screen or to the bottom of the screen with the map moving around. There is a small marker on the screen that you touch to either have the pointer up or down.
On the the full version of Oziexplorer there is a setting in Moving Map that allows the map to be orientated north south with the direction arrow to point in the actual direction of movement (either centered on the screen or moving across it.)
How do I get the moving map in Ozi Explorer CE to do the same - I have searched just about every menu in the system and cannot find the relevant menu.
Thanks
Garry

Cheers,
Thanks for that - I have different menus but it gave me the clue - I just selected 3D and all came good - thanks.
I still don't know how to load and save track files (asked here) http://www.aulro.com/afvb/gps/109840...ack-files.html
responses and solutions given but I do not have most of the menus that are listed. Maybe there is more than one version of Oziexplorer CE.

						Hi Garry,
Not sure what version of OziCE you have, but the latest is 2.34a.
Try the following link.

It will flash the version on the start up screen, but i don't remember the menus being wildly different.
Track files, should be
File,
Track Log,
Import track trail from file.
cheers

						Hi Garry,
I see you are still having problems with OziCE. I am using version 2.34a, which is the latest.
I hope the following will help you.
I have taken some photos (apologies for the quality)of my GPS unit (same as yours) so you can go through screen by screen.
I have attached then as a PDF file (smaller footprint).
Check that you can start at the first screen.
Click on “View”.
Then click on “Toolbars”.
Now click on “Track Toolbar”. You should see a new toolbar on the upper right of the screen.
Now click on the yellow folder. This should bring up the “Load Track File” window.
Select your track and it should show.(Note that your track file should be in OziCE/Data folder).
Dave.
Thanks Dave
That works a treat - I see now the answer was in the original post - just too thick to follow.
Was looking for a View Toolbar menu and of course there is not such thing. I needed to open View and then click on Toolbars etc. Here was I looking for a "View Toolbar" icon and of course it is two menus. Also I just had the icons on the bottom of the main screen with the File View and Map menus not displayed so was causing me a bit of confusion - I must admit while I find using the basic functions of Oziexplorer easy - the more detailed stuff is a bit beyond me.
Thanks for taking the time to walk me through this - thanks
Garry
