    fishing waypoints

I have been given 15 A3 pages of gps fishing points for around here, what is the simplest way of saving them digitally so that i can load them into my lowrance gps. I also use ozi explorer in the landy but i guess it wont float so that is not a big issue.do i just type them into an excell or is there a special program.

If your lowrance GPS is supported by Ozi, I'd create an excel csv file with the right format that will allow you to directly upload them via Ozi to your GPS

The easiest way would be to create a dummy waypoint file in Ozi, export it as a txt file, then open as a csv in excel, you can then add any other lines (waypoints) that you need.
Save the file either as text or csv and then open in Ozi and you should see all the waypoints displayed.

    You have a few options!
gpsbabel will let you batch waypoints and directly upload them to your lowrance
Plenty of other options using open source software like Qlandkarte GT

Which ever way you go it is handy to have marine chart software on your computer so you can route plan and back up waypoints etc etc. Marine gps untis get a hard time in salt and wet environment, having an easy digital backup of points is pretty important.

You don't need a GPS, use the Irish method, when you find a good fishing spot just put an X on the side of the boat, LOL, Regards Frank.
