    Navman ICN-510

Anyone used/using this system for mapping?

How well does it work Offroad?

Does it eliminate the use of a laptop?

I have the PDA version, known as the Navman PiN. It works a treat on the road, and you can run oz-explorer software on it, and it's cheaper than that model, I paid $900 at Dick Smiths at Erina.

Ashley we are considering the Garmin version of yours the IQ 3600 are they good for 4wdriving not just around town. The reason i ask is the Garmin 276C or the 76C seem to have all the requirements needed for 4wdriving except they are not PDA style.

Mate do you have a link to look at it?

Jason, I looked at the navman site this morning, I don't think it will do what you want it to do.

    Mate this is mine http://www.navman.com/land/products/pin/index.html

It's a great little unit, the navman software is better than the Garmin for road use and you can run Oziexplorer as well.

I contacted Navman Directly and was informed that the only navman product with the ability to provide useful info in the bush was the Navman PIN. The guy told me to head for WWW.ozieplorer.com and click on the oziexplorerCE link, as this software was the best available for this unit.

Maggot are you using this software?

If so how do you find it?

It's going to take me a month of sundays to get the head round this :? :? :?

How much, Jason? All this Sat navigation is new to me, but it is becoming more and more of a must have, christ 4x4 Australia include sat points with all their trip write ups. Matt
