They offered a $25 discount as I had already bought their expensive app.
What's to stop them doing this again? Nothing. They did not even reply to my very civil email.
In conclusion, I will not be giving them any more money. I'll stick with OziExplorer which I have or HEMA if I need it.
I never thought MudMap was all that good anyway.
Yep I told them to jam it as well.
Don't buy Mudmap, they rip you off.

I have the old Garmin GPS V with a USB interface data cable, if mated to a tablet or laptop could this setup be used as a navigation system?

What is needed to make it work?
    Holy Moley!!!
I have one under my desk and I had to check that you really had one.
That is now 25 years old!

They were so sloooow to pick up satellites, and the tiny 2inch B and W screen was really difficult to see.
Any $100 GPS will be far better, and have up to date maps.
I say ditch it. I should do the same but I have this old fashioned idea of not chucking anything that works.
    Anyone want it for free?

    Regards Philip A

Well maybe 10 - 15 years old, I've still got my GPS12 from 1997 (not that I use it much) it would work with a laptop and Ozi to give moving maps.

Had to make my own cable to interface, as they weren't available back then (well not any reasonable price) using pfranc pledgeware plugs.

Just wonder if this will be an option. It has an AV port as well so it can be used together with a reverse camera.

My camera is for hard wire and the Bluetooth will be for the hands free mobile phone.
Is shame that the Samsung does not has an AV port
