    Try here :

They sell all that sort of stuff. Probably best to call them because they have a lot more than just what is on the website. Ask for Tim Loveday,he is a Disco owner as well.

It will probably be used on all 3 vehicles, Series 2, 3 and x-trail.

the series are easy to fint a screw hole and attach to, if your not keem on makeing any new holes,
I have seen a few in the xtrails be mounted behing the stering wheel, where a speedo would normily be, they have just been drop down hooking ones, with the power plugged into the drivers top map box, you know the one with the 12volt ciggy plug,
Stuff like that I love about the xtrails, you can get clip ons or a stick on mount that can be removed at a latter date, you get easy accsess to power, and looking at the gps is as easy as looking at the speed in a regular car,
and when your done, leave it pluged in so it charges and just chuck it in the drivers box,

Suction mounts are often unreliable, especially in hot weather. Well-designed ones may be ok for lighter GPSRs.

Whatever you do for a mount, bolt it in securely. I don't trust suctions, all I trust is bolt and screws attached to something solid. This is because I like to drive rough tracks. If you're a bitumen-only driver some less robust will do.

    I'd support that view.

A mate's lost suction and the GPS fell onto the gear stick and cracked the glass on the screen.

I have a Magellan that came with a suction stand. I've taken out the suction caps and screwed it to the dash (I put gommets in the mount holes).

The disco 1 has a "gutter" in the dash so I took out the loose rubber liner and the mount base fits perfectlyand the lip helps to support the stalk.

The added benefit is that the GPS is about 150mm closer to me improving visibility (reduced glare) and access to the buttons much more ergonomic.

I have a reradiating antenna so reception is not an issue.
