Thinking of getting a Tom Tom so how does it work with Camp 4 POI.

How do you select a campsite and navigate to the site?

I can see how the street navigation works because the maps are embedded in the device and the screen displays are part of the marketing pitch, turn left turn right etc.

I will need the free camping destinations, I already have the book, so I just need someone who has got a Tom Tom to tell me how it works with choosing something like a Camp 4 waypoint and how the instruction /advice is delivered.

Is it like a Lowrance boat GPS that shows the direction by a cursor pointing the way and computes the distance or an overlay on a map if you are also running OZIexplorer
