GPS from the US on Ebay

    Hi there,

Is there any technical or performance issues in buying say a new Garmin Etrex direct from the States?

ie like the one on this link.

    http://cgi.ebay.com.au/New-Garmin-eT...QQcmdZViewItem

Price wise it looks pretty good.

    Cheers.

hey dude..i bought a GPS (magellan explorist XL) off ebay..355 + postage.
    RRP hare in aussie $900+
came with US base map..however the base maps are crap anyway(my opinion). Went and bought Discover AUST SD card.380 dollars has all aussie tracks and topo map..
    still in front..
the shop was fine..biggest hassle..waitting for it to arrive..
    best of luck.
