Very much out of date. By today's standards a poor screen, poor sat performance, don't even think those had USB. Get something newer if you can.

This has the North American basemap plus a world-wide map, which means a lo-res map of Australia with only major roads shown. To get street-level Australian maps you'll need Discover Australia Streets and Tracks, another couple of hundred dollars. Also, there's no mention of an SD card slot. This may mean that it's a base model with a small amount of fixed memory that will let you load only a small area of external mapping at a time.
The unit itself is good but you may not be happy with the maps.
Stephen.

As I said, it was a reasonable unit at the time of its release (I think that was 3 years ago) and now there are better ones on the market.
