Just want to bring this thread back from the dead: I also have a blackberry bold coming in through work, anybody know a way/application of using gps abilities on this handset?

I understand you can use it when you are in 3G range, but as soon as you are out of there (exactly where im planning to use it), you are out of range (even though i'm pretty sure the BlackBerry has a GPS receiver).
