If I don't get enough interest for the 21st/22nd trip maybe we could do a geo caching day?

All you need to do is sign up on the site and then keep track of caches as we all go along and because we are doing them together it will be quicker.

There are also confluence points. I've got my name down on one - 13˚S 136˚E - as a first visit and myself and a mate are trying to work on the logistics of getting to another.

Yes we have been Geocaching for a couple of years. The kids enjoy it and it is a good excuse to get out of the house for a while. Whenever we camp in a new area we check out the caches, it is a good way to find the nice spots in an area.

    4x4 and geocache

Could make interesting runs with your buddies. Great idea for look out points, secluded picnic spots for you and partner...

It has been a few times. The last time was only a couple of months ago.

I do it sometimes but only if I am headed out anyway.

Yes, we've been geo caching. It's heaps of fun. Have a look at the Geo caching Australia website -

Geocaching Australia - Free and Open Geocaching

You put in your postcode (or whatever postcode you want to do a bit of treasure hunting in) & it brings up available caches in that area.

We haven't had much time to do an for a while, but would love to get back into it. We should set up some geo caching for Land Rover owners - in fact, what a good idea! I may just start one over the weekend!

    Give it a go!
