I got mine today the 375mhz version works great,its a bit slow with some things.Ive tried running the update on the 500mhz version i have and it doesnt work.
Would anyone have an update for the 500mhz version?

i was going to get into this unit till i found sygic for the iphone.

kicks tomtom clean out of the court and is only 70 odd dollars

SWMBO has requested an iPhone, but I was holding off until Tomtom became available. I might have to check it out.

I assume the iPhone is yet to have an OziCE off-road equivilant or alternative?

For those wating on a disc with software or a GPS unit, I return to work tomorrow, so hopefully will get a chance to post off the discs tomorrow and the GPS units later in the week. Fingers crossed :eek:

there are a few mapping and gps apps but i havent had time to try them, or the cash for that matter...

on the iphone tomtom is crap compared to sygic IMHE

runs like a pig and has big delays with nowhere near the sensitivity of sygic, but am sure it will improve over the next couple of updates..

I'm on the Central Coast but come down to Sydney regularly. If I can get my 372Mhz GPS to go once I get Ranga's disc I'd be happy to help ..... always depending on where you are in Sydney of course ...... and that your GPS was a 372Mhz also.

I've got my DX unit up and running - Ozi, Tomtom and Igo. Delivery time direct from DX was about two weeks. Very happy with it, its as good as units costing many times more. Thanks Ranga....

Now if only it could bluetooth the gps signal to my laptop....
