I was saving my money years ago to have a trip to Russia, but ended up getting married and buying a house with the money.

    Hello Bimmer,

According to a number of Holden internet sites your ZL engine is out of a HZ Holden. Years of Manufacture 1977 - 1980. Because your engine has ZL it means it is a later model HZ. Instead of having "202" on the passenger side of the engine block you will have "3.3" cast on it representing 3.3 Litres instead of 202 Cubic Inches.

Have a look at the following link accessed 25th December 2015 from, HZ Holden Specifications

    Kind Regards
    Lionel

Bimmer, Welcome, a good series you have there. 245 Hemi badge also from another car - Valiant. The holden 6 can be a good reliable engine, and there are many still running around the place.

    Enjoy the forum!

Basically hello and welcome just with google translate - best I can
Do as Bimmer is speaking English I thought I'd return the favour!
