yep they will all bolt up no problem. Only thing that will be different is the main jet but you can swap them around to suit, or get an adjustable main jet if you're super keen.
Have just replaced the 161 in my S1 107 with a red 173, however the 173 came with an automatic carbie. I happen to have a manual 186 carbie….. am wondering could I swap the 186 auto carbie out and replace it with either my 161 or 186 manual carbies? I have a few different intake manifolds so can match the carbie bolt and bore pattern if required.

Thanks,
Just checked the numbers on the carbie that came with the 173, and it’s a 202 carbie. I think that I’ll try the other carbies, 161 and 186, and see how it goes, they must be closer to spec.

As akelly has already said, only the jetting is different. The 50+ year old carbies you have, could now have any jets in them.
If you don't like trucks, stop buying stuff.
