Thread: New D4 is ordered - now some questions!

Hi agro,
This has been looked at many times. The conclusion has always been that retrofitting is cost prohibitive as, as well as the diff and actuator, extra ecus, wiring looms, programming etc would be required.

It would be better to sell your vehicle and buy one with the rear diff fitted.

Not sure that is quite true, the 3.0 gets a new gearbox, what the differences are I am not quite sure.

But agree with the principle of saving $$s by buying the 2.7 and picking the fruit that you want, rather than a standard fruit salad. Also the 18 inch rims........
