What products do you use to clean your D3

Hi folks, it's been a while since I've posted in here, though I've been in and out lurking. But I'm hoping you might be able to assist with guidance on products and materials that you use to clean your D3 inside and out.

So, questions that come to mind include:

    1. So far, I have just used dampened towels to wipe away dust inside as I've been worried about damaging the fittings with chemicals. But I'm wondering if there's anything else more effective that will freshen it up a bit.

    2. On the black trims - is one of the amorall tyre cleaners/shiners the most appropriate? If so, which one?

    3. What about wax on the body of the car? Is there a particular brand you would recommend?

    4. And the rims where the brake pad dust collects. Is there anything you would suggest for that?

Is there anything else I have forgotten?

As always thank you in advance for your assistance.

Sorry, haven't got a D3 but wrt to products, it has to be Auto-Glym. I have just about their entire range, it a bit more expensive but once you build up the full compliment the products last for quite a while.

I have a D4. Through all my cars I have used Meguiars products and find them a lot better than the Kitten / Selleys / Turtle products. The price is a bit more, but only a bit. Meguiars Gold Class wash in a large handled bottle is quite affordable from SuperCheap Auto, and gives a lot richer lather.

Interior I use microfibre cloths (Sabco has some good ones) with water.

I haven't tried this myself, but the D3.co.uk site recommends peanut butter for the black exterior trim. They go so far as to recommend smooth peanut butter!

I too am a Meguiars fan for the exterior, especially the black plastic trim. They make am exterior detailer that you rub in with a cloth and wipe of excess.
I use am anti static cloth to wipe up dust on the interior and every now and then use a spray similar to armourall called Aerospace to treat the surfaces. I was told not to use armourall because of the silicone in it.
The best leather treatment that I have ever used to do the seats is a Jaguar product that I purchased from ULR Landrover Melbourne. Awesome product. Hope this helps.
BTW: My wife nicknamed me Mr Meguiar because I am such a fan of their products.
    Cheers, Craig

I have been using Bowdens Own after using Mcguires for many years. Very happy with the results. Have also tried their leather love product on the seats. Seems to do a better job than the stuff I was getting from woolies from the furniture manufacturers.
Australian export window cleaner on the glass($2.00 a can from supercheap), dash and console. Spray and wipe on the kick panels etc.

If you want to use good gear then use Meguairs.

Last Touch or Final Detail with a microfibre cloth will clean surfaces like door surrounds.

Soft Wash Gel is what I would recommend to wash with.

Wonder Wheels is very good for the rims.

For wax - if you are happy to pay the money then use P21s Concourse Carnuaba Wax.
