			Garmin ecoRoute HD

The unit plugs into the ECU connector and then connects via Bluetooth to a Garmin gps. Cost less than $180, has a graphical readout of various engine functions and also the ability to read and reset fault codes.
I have seen a youtube video of the system and the fault codes where converted into a useable text form. As the test car was a Ford, I am wondering if it would work on a D3.
If anyone has one or seen one in use with a D3 and wish to share their opinions with me I would be grateful.

I doubt it would work for the D3 for the fault codes but it may be able to get some functions.

It will "probably" only "read" the standard EOBDII fault codes and it won't read or clear the extended and specific fault codes.

It will be similar in functionality to a ScanGauge II, I think.... You might want to search here and Disco3.co.uk for that as well.

 Cheers,
 AP

They are supposed to work on any OBDII port.

I have one that so far has only been fitted to my Mini Cooper D.

I have been meaning to plug it into the D4.
