    thanks
    Hi NomadicD3,
I havent fittted them yet, but a friend (who has the identical rim/tyre combo on an 09MY D3) has said that they do just marginally touch at full lock. I think i can live with that.

    Hi Oldsalt,
Mine were painted at the panel shop we use for work.
"Corso Body Works" in South Melbourne.
They are a Matt Black finish, But you can basically get any color you like.

    Cheers

I did transfer later that day, next morning tyres had been picked up by FED EX, and should be here within the week
I did do a quick check with Bob Jane ,not in stock and $150 more per tyre, even after delivery to regional Qld , ya gotta wonder.
    Cheers Ken
Been trying for a couple of weeks locally to get tyres (Pirelli Scorpion ATRs 255/60/18s x 4) for my D3 with no luck as they are not even in stock with Pirelli Australia.

So I contacted Mac late last night and had a full quote this a.m. for US$240 each (half Oz price !!) and post US$375. Now just to find a cheap fitter in Brisbane...anyone know where is best?

Pirelli Aust no longer list any ATRs on their website.

I've been told by several different tyre dealers that they are just out of production with up to a 10 week wait? Austral in Brisbane could only get one pirelli (WTF) and are now recommending Yoko Geo ATS.

ULR in Malvern Vic have a fair stock at the moment, but I assume they will sell reasonably quickly.

    Hey Steve,
I was at ULR Malvern today.
It is the 19" ATR's that they have heaps of stock of, not the 18's

    Cheers, Craig

I think these will do me just fine for my everyday tyre in LT245/70-17 (LI 119) but I wont be buying them in Oz. I was quoted locally $430 f&b each and told that they are expensive because of the unusual size. Tirerack is showing only $143 in the US. I can fit them myself with only freight and balancing as extras.

Sorry.. can't help myself... looking at the thread title...

Why would anyone want to fit 18 foot tyres to a D3?

    Just a quick one -

Noticed that Yokohama do a 265/60R18 Geolander A/T-S - anyone have any knowledge of them? Would a 265 tyre rub in the wheel arches?

    Cheers!
