    Attaching Photos

I have a query re: attaching photos in threads.
Whenever I attach a photo it comes up as a thumbnail. I noticed that some photos that others put up, are quite large and take up the full width of the thread. I have tried the copy, paste, insert scenario.
    Any hints??????
    Cheers, Craig

Craig, when you are replying to a post, if you scroll down there is a tab that says, "Manage Attachments"

click on this and follow the prompts,,

The other way is to copy the pic info
(right click on pic) and in the body of the reply click on the small yellow mountain icon above, then paste the info,
    your pic should appear---

the top way will come out like this--

The right click method should look like this--

just so you know what its about----

The autonomous Audi TTS built by Volkswagen Group Electronics Research Lab, Stanford University and Audi has taken an important first step toward its ultimate goal: participating in the Pikes Peak International Hill Climb. The self-driving TTS officially completed a test run – all the way to the 14,110 foot summit – earlier this year, clocking a time of 27 minutes, which is pretty good considering that race officials typically expect a human driver to do it in around 17 minutes.

Audi says that the car used a combination of brand-new software, algorithms and hardware to tackle one of the world's most challenging hill climbs. The 12.42 mile course is a gauntlet of tarmac and loose gravel that snakes upward with a number of instant switchbacks. According to Audi, the autonomous TTS managed to hit a top speed of 47 mph during one stretch. Hit the jump for the full press release.

    Craig,
I think that the photo you want to paste needs to be hosted somewhere, like photobucket, or even on the Aulro site itself.
It took me ages to figure it out & i ended up just posting onto the Aulro site (in your Gallery area) then take the photo from there.

    Cheers

This photo was in the Aulro gallery & posted using the Yellow mountain icon, When you hit the Icon it will bring up the "Attaching photo link" where you will need to paste the URL for the photo from where it is being hosted. I normally have 2 Aulro pages up to do this.
The thumbnail was posted using "Manage Attachments" method like Pedro has said from my PC & you dont have to host it anywhere else.

Two Land Rovers are better than One!

Thanks for the lesson on posting pictures. I had not figured that out and wondered how others were doing it.

The above picture I thought was an excellent choice as it clearly shows that the only thing better than one Land Rover is Two of them.
