    Hi Neil,
The D1 in the driveway is my Father in laws.
I organised the purchase of that one nearly 14yrs ago & it is still in immaculate condition for a 3dr.
It has been well used too, travelling the country 2-3 times, ahhhh retiring, i will get there . . . .

    Cheers

Half width pictures vs full width?

The Sport pictures above display as what I will call half width - that is displays across half the width of the post.

Is there a way to make the picture show full width or is that a function of the computer size of the jpg file, in other words, the number of KB of picture I guess it would be called.

To experiment with posting pictures per this thread, in the V8 thread, I posted an engine and engine bay picture and both displayed as the Sport pictures above so I wondered if there was a procedure to get the pictures to show larger.

They aren't half-width, they are fixed at 500pixels. They would be half width on a monitor of 1024 x 768 pixels, but on my mega-monitor they're nowhere close to half ;-)

I have my own website so put the images up there and resized them before I do so.

Exactly how the picture is made larger or smaller depends on the mechanism used to display it. I resize before I upload, other people use systems that let them choose the size when they upload.

    Hi Sniegy
    Nice photo of your D4.
Can I ask for some info on your bonnet bug/stone deflector. It does not look like the genuine LR ones I have seen on the web (with LR lettering)? Can you tell me who makes it and approx cost? I am mainly interested in its bug deflection ability so any comments would be appreciated. On my previous 80 series I had an Aunger one I think which projected 1-2 cm above the bonnet in an upswept curve. This helped to produce a vertical air stream to push the bugs over the top of the windscreen so I am looking for one with similar ability for my D3.
    Thanks

    trying this out

I've had the D4 for about just over 3 weeks now. I hadn't put the D4 on sooner as I figure everyone is sick of seeing pictures of white D4s.... I've never posted photos before so I figure trying this out is a good excuse.

    Hi thekernel,
I have the genuine LR clear one on mine and I think it looks pretty good.
