I can't believe I now have one of these in my driveway!! I need to pinch myself every time I look at it! Needless to say I'm a little excited!! TDV6 graphite brand spanking new. I'm lost for words at how good this vehicle is.......life changing....
To all those on the fence about buying - don't think just do, you will not regret it.
Will try and figure out how to upload more than one pic as its not letting me. Until then this will suffice.
Permagrin well and truly on!!!
Ok, have a bit of decent weather so now time for pics of the bits that have bolted on to the D4
Bullbar (and snorkel), I quite like the line of the posts confoming to the shape of the grille and headlights. And there is also a plate to cove the hole where a winch would go.

APT rock sliders and stand off bars with checker plate step

Sliders with the door open, the step is quite narrow

Close up of the wheel carrier. They have changed the design so that it now incorporates the parking sensor that used to be disconnected on install

And the cargo barrier

Didn't take a photo of the auxiliary tank, the ground was too wet.

My entry to club permagrin. Indus silver, almond/arabica. Optioned with e-diff, tech pack and keyless entry. Very happy with it after having 2 Freelanders earlier. Setting it up for outback touring with a trailer.
Llams. Fantastic accessory that delivers what LR should have done in the first place. DBS - Traxide D4-5S. EBC ? Redarc Towpro Elite. LRT ? Outback Accessories. Gets the spare out from the awkward spot underneath and on the back where it belongs, and greater confidence improving range from the stock limit of 600 kms. RWC ? Front Runner. Very sorted piece of kit, and is more central than others so it doesn't obstruct the light assembly. Opens and swings easily and stays open with a gas strut. APT stand-off rock sliders with aluminium inserts to make steps and to keep rocks and mud away from the sides. GOE rims and D697 285/60/18s. No rubbing at all and a better ride than the OEMs. Completely changes the look of the car and quiet enough I think I'll keep them on permanently. Sensatyre TPMS. Window tint. Mortels sheepskin front seat covers.
Not convinced I need a snorkel (and see the Safari product as ugly), or a roof rack (though I like the look of the Rhino pioneer platform). Just leaves UHF and cargo barrier.
Now the adventure begins!
Mudflaps and black letters in a few days. Too wet for the first bush bashing this weekend
Our entry ticket to the obsession. Picked up our MY16.5 SDV6 Landmark in Yulong White this afternoon, and then did about 120 of the most comfortable kms ever on the way home.

Nice.

Looking good Mike. From the photo it looks like your front tie down points have been removed to fit the barrier. If that's right they can be refitted if you want them because I trimmed the end off those brackets to make it work.
Cheers,
Jon
