Wet still hasn't completely kicked in over there by the looks.

Thanks so do I! I would have probably ordered a safe colour like Corris or White if I had the chance as I like them (and the boss particularly likes white) but the dealer had this on the floor and I loved it so lucky I guess. The fact that there's none around in this colour is a nice bonus too.
Undecided on whether I should paint the wheels anthracite - thoughts?
Headed off to Monkey Mia for 8 days last week. With growing kids and a new SUP for the wife, we've never had so much 'stuff'. Anyway great week was had by all. Car went like a dream- one day up and one day back.

While there we headed to Dubaut Inlet just south of Monkey Mia, a good drive and some good fun fishing for the kids.https://www.aulro.com/afvb/images/im...017/01/150.jpg

Outside the Kalgoorlie ARB shop's "Summer Sizzlers" sale earlier on today. It's a bloody sizzler here alright - it hit 40 degrees this morning and has only got worse - overcast now with the threat of a storm, so very still and muggy ...........................
Air-con in the D4 doesn't seem to be worried by it though. :D

Yeah it's been pretty windy hasn't it.
We were there or 8 days:
First two beautiful. The ocean was like a mill pond. Then nice afternoon breeze. The kayaks and SUP got a good work out, which justified the 4 stops to get the amazingly loud drumming on the roof sound sorted. Turned out the be the SUP cover's excess material hitting the on the roof once we got near or over 100k/h..........apologies kids and your kayaks......:p!
Then a couple of winder days but not too bad.
Then a couple of really bad days. Every guy deployed, first time ever, even had a couple off the front awning which is designed to work without guys (which it usually does).
Then two OK days to finish, followed by a howling head wind all the way home.
During the windier days we questioned if we would go again in summer (head up to this general part of the coast regularly in autumn/winter) but the last few days were OK so maybe. Very quiet with people which appeals to me.
We didn't try too hard for fish. Just fishing with the 7 and 6 yo kids. Plenty of bites and smaller stuff to keep them interested. One good whiting and a cod of some description the only fish of note. Wish I'd taken the crab pots, plenty of good sized blue swimmers being pulled. People getting their bag without too much effort.
