Haven't been on here for a while,so thought i would throw this up.

Out at the farm...

After putting up with 45degree heat for most of the arvo,we got caught out in a storm and slip slided around.The mud actually jammed the rear wheels.

It was still 33degrees at 11pm that night..

Having a worn out set of tyres didn't help either.

Last time this happened we slid into a bore drain,missed a few trees by inches,then with lots of work in rock crawl,which i found out worked the best,eventually got out.

This time, out on the cultivation,not many trees about,but somehow managed to slide through a few gates no worries:)

Quite right. This little spot is to me a good example of the benefit of sliders.
We only just touched here but it was close and the holes in the track would not have needed to be much deeper.
And this was an innocuous and flat section of track too with a few root outcrops and muddy holes.
Here's a mate doing the same section showing what I mean more clearly.

Yep Duckworths, they're a solid seal, unlike the door rubber. Those prices are total remember so 50 pounds each front and rear. I didn't think that was too excessive...

Have a feeling the GRR will have some deeper than usual crossings for us after a solid wet season.. Not to mention dust.
