Had a little fun in the mud with my 4 year old daughter, a little adventure she called it. Mum was not to happy that we were late for dinner on Mother's Day. Glad I had the winch to pull me out!ImageUploadedByTapatalk1368351843.356370.jpg

When I got home spent 2 hrs cleaning off all the clay! Man that stuff is slick!!

After getting the D4 12 months ago I finally got to use it off-road

Spent a great couple of days at Double Island / Rainbow beach with the D4 and a Conqueror Commander off-road camper. My D4 is stock MY12 SDV6 SE - only extra is Xeon headlights (at least for now!!).

Very nice! I also have a D4/UEV490 combo and love them both, hope you enjoy yours as much as I love mine!

Went for a bit of a drive yesterday with a couple of other Landies, a D2 V8, Defender 90 and SVX 100 near Jilliby. The day was cut short after the 90 blew a diff, but not before we had a go at a short, steep, very loose little hill. Nobody made it up but we got some very good angles. The wife almost broke my left forearm when it got REALLY steep. And yes it really was as steep as it looks.
Thanks to Jimmy Salsa for the actual photograph of my truck.

Barny as long as your asking a question or passing a comment re someone's vehicle that is featured in this area then there is no need for a pic.
    Cheers,

Mate, running 265/70/17 Cooper ST Maxx. Very good as an all terrain, but they do have their limitations. They have had a very hard 30000km on them and probably have another 20000 in them. I will either get another set of the same or go for mud terrains. Will probably go the latter as I'm starting to become the only one in our group without them!
