Making them solid is illegal (like tint) - However, a sign write could use white sign-age film (lots of tiny holes so can see from inside) easily enough

Thanks. When I first started looking at D4's I liked the Ipanema Sand. Didn't know if they still offered them in the same colour or not.
I ended up with white as it was the only one available at the time on the deal that I was offered. If I ever get to replacing it and have the option, Ipanema Sand will be my first choice. ;)
A spot of fishing and swimming on the beach near Bunbury over the Xmas break.

It was the first time I have had the D4 on the beach and I'll admit to being a bit apprehensive at first. No need to worry though as it did it easy, even easier than my old D2a with 16" wheels etc... :D:D:D
Have fun!
Just sold our 2005 D3 to upgrade to this. 2010 SE with the big motor, ARB winch bar, Light Force HID spotties, UHF and a Red Arc brake controller. Factory options were the rear air, HK stereo upgrade and the NAV pack. Pretty happy so far but it needs a transmission flush and a once over by the guys a GCA just to make sure everything is ok. Sorry for the crappy phone photos :D
Cheers

Chris.
I was tempted to go for a run up Nanarup Beach whilst in Albany.
It was windy, looked soft and there werent any Jeenisotoyots to rescue me.I wouldnt have hesitated to take the D2 on there.
It was more of a unsure of the cababilities and experience issue. Not much phone signal down there either.
Cheers

Recent addition. MY15 D4 HSE
Hi Robert,
thanks for the welcome. I've got a D4 SEV6. Nothing added (yet). Had it for 18 months and think its fantastic. Apart from a few beach drives, there's been no serious offroad so far. Heading to the Simpson in July on a tag along tour. I've found the posts here very helpful - tyres, recovery, etc. Am enjoying collecting all the gear.
