Ill have to agree there only ever heard them on here!! Most people i work with in mining drive cruisers or prados and nearly all bang on about light force try to tell them about FYRLYTS but end up giving up!! My dad has a 40" rigid industries light bar and loves it thats on his MAN pantec truck. I saw a pair of FYRLYTS second hand on Facebook buy swap sell in my local area for $250 owner just got a new car and didn't need them anymore tried to buy them but they never replied so i gave up!! Would have a been a steal for that price.
Here are some pictures from my last weekend. Barrington Tops National Park, Polblue Swamp area. Went with a friend with a Jeep Cherokee SRT8, so stuck to the dirt roads and not the 4WD trails.
D4's just don't get dirty! :D

surprised the SRT8 even left the tarmac :p
Finally did it - sold the D2a and replaced with a D3 S coil sprung poverty pack.
Less then 100kms on the clock, service books, drives well but missing all accessories to be fitted in due time. Pretty standard but does have dual batts, mitch hitch and a brake controller. Just getting use to driving it compared to the old D2a.
First impressions very smooth thru the auto box, heaps more power and more responsive then my chipped D2a, heaps of room and storage though missing ash tray not for smoking but to collect loose coins. checked the cabin filter and its filthy - so first item to be changed. did have a loose battery terminal on the aux battery, done and had a go at removing from grille easy peasy. have temp removed two battery compartment lids not sure to refit them. enjoying the journey. cheers
Built March 2005 - Happy 10th Birthday
Picked it up just over a month ago to tow our new van when we get it. First timer with a LR but had other 4x4s years ago. Impressed by the ride and handling so far but haven't really tested it offroad. Don't expect to be rock hopping just want the ability to get to out of the way places that we couldn't access with our previous motorhome.
Corris grey with 20" blackpack, ultra leather, RES. Have added TowPro and wiring upgrade to rear plus anderson plugs. Have also fitted a Recovery HiRise hitch.
Our new Disco, to replace the Evoque - the missus has decided it's to be named "Midnight". Haven't been able to get the keys off her yet ..........
An SDV6 HSE - the ride is not as taut as the Sport, much smoother and soaks up the bumps better. A blank canvas that's screaming "mod me" - but will probably have to do most of it at 2am in the morning!
Cheers,
Gordon
