    I see a go-pro... Any vids of the day?
    Yep, I have piles of gopro & other video footage (mostly very mild, but with a good V8 soundtrack, haha), but as I am the worlds laziest media manager it is not edited into youtube sized chunks (never percolates to the top of my to-do-list !).

    When ("if" may be more appropriate) I find time to edit some, are links to vids welcome in this thread ?

    Latest addition to the D3, is a Tigerz11 steel roof rack. They advertised it as as old stock to suit a D4, not really sure that would have been correct but for $350 including the mounting brackets I was not complaining. I had to give the brackets a tweak to suit the Rhino rails that I have but it seems to have gone on ok. Just need to sort the LCA and fit up the 40 mm Dobinson kit and I will be just about done I think.

    Had a couple of days camping this week, nice driving during the day... bloody cold in the night though. Here's a couple of pic's from the Mt Shaugh track before heading up to Pinnaroo. Had fun on the Border Track, Soooo much easier than the previous Prado was in the sand.

    It is a tdv6 my13 that is what they come with now, up here anyway.

    first 4wd

    hi guys,
    Completely new to the 4wd world, had a nissan skyline previously. Picking up my ride from Sydney on the weekend. Thinking of taking her to the condamine river crossing for a easy start. Hope to learn a lot from the forum. Please advice on the essentials that i need to install or buy like snatch strap, etc.

    First thing you need to do ... go to your bank and get a BIG bag of money and then start trawling through this forum for all the "goodies" you "must have" for your vehicle - seriously though, take your time and decide what sort of driving you'll be doing and where you are likely to be going and start adding "goodies" in the correct order ... I added a bull bar straight away for peace of mind - you'll find all the advice you need on this forum, the members are a very knowledgeable lot... welcome to the wonderful world of Landrovering.
