You might need to get on to that pretty quick Carl. I've read (not verified) that it's difficult to place bespoke orders anymore, with vehicles restricted to those that have been ordered by dealers.

Yep, its up to Dealer orders. There were a few 5 seaters with leather when I got mine... the strangest combo was a 5 seat with leather and rear air in an SDV6..go figure (why would you need rear air in a 5 seater!). The dealer said they occassionally ordered 5 seaters without leather as a price leader but they were very slow to sell.

Finally, picked up the brand spanka last night from the side of the M1 off a car carrier, literally off the back of a truck. I even wore my bathrobe for the pickup as a bit of extra glam.

It's a Corris Grey '16 TDV6. Tech pack, lights upgrade, rear A/C, 7 seat black leather, GPS & Meridian.

Pretty flash! Drove it home, put it in the shed and pulled it to pieces this morning.

Planned upgrades do date:

Home grown black pack, powder coat 5x wheels, spray vents and grill, Disco badges from ebay, full window tint.

Full length Frontrunner rack

Foxwing

Fleabay rubber mats

Fleabay D1/Defender mud flaps

Set of sliders on the way from Brad

Mrs is back from UK on Tuesday so hope to be back on the road by then. (Is it too nice to let her drive it?)

More upgrades likely to be added as kids get older and car gets more scratches.....

Ok, got the D4 back today. Bull bar, snorkel, rear wheel carrier, auxiliary fuel tank, APT sliders with chequer plate steps and cargo barrier (thanks Jon).
Pics on the weekend I promise.
But in the meantime I rented a Prado, nice car but no comparison
Apparently the NSW Range Club had their meeting at OL Rockdale last night and were having a good look.

James and I managed to get out for a sneaky mid-week drive at Janowen Hills.
We spent a couple of hours traversing a tight & rocky gully.
Not steep or rutted, just lots of rocks so all about wheel placement and line selection.
And not much time for photos due to full time spotting for each other.

That left only enough time for a short hill climb, for which a comparative video is currently in production.

Spoiler Alert: we both made it to the top but his run was a bit more elegant & controlled than mine.
