    I installed Llams kit myself
It's basically plug & play, with a bit of fiddling around.
Suspension control unit is up under dash on RHS
    Awkward to physically get to.
I put Llams switch on LHS of steering column as shown in previous posts.
    It's well worth it.
    Cheers Vin

Thanks Rhinosm - I think a Llams kit is definitely on my shopping list, as I can see myself getting quite a bit of use from being able to manually select "extended height" - especially river crossings and deeper mud.
    p.s. any comments/opinions on your Duratracs ?

    Hi
I've done about 9000kms on Duratracs so far.
About 6500 on trip from Melb, central oz and back.
I think there a good allrounder.
Not noisy on asphalt like more aggressive tyres, and more than capable off road.
I can't justify money on expensive 18" wheels and tyres.
I did Birdsville track, Simpson desert and much more recently.
    I'm happy with them.
    Cheers Vin

I'm now starting to second guess whether I should have not bothered changing the wheels over to 18 inch - with all the hassle of getting them and cost involved. I actually looked at the 19 inch Duratrac's and was a bit worried they maybe noisy on the tarmac with there open tread, and non LT rating.

I have only had my BFG 265/60r18 on for a week or so, and must say they are a bit noisier than I expected. But they do have a good load rating and nice side wall lugs for grip and side wall protection. And the handling of the car is the same as the Goodyear Wrangler HT.

I've got Cooper AT3s in 265/60/18. They are also noisier that I expected. I think I will go back to a HT, when these wear out in 5 years. I'm getting used to them.

I've only had my BFG Ko2 for a week or so - so haven't had a chance to get used to them, or wear in. I notice they have a distinctive whine on the over run between 60 down to 45 Km/h. quite annoying. I did get a 4 wheel alignment when they were fitted.

    I have the same.
I had a brand new HSE the other week whilst mine was getting services,I thought the AT3s were only marginally noiser than the HSE with OEM tyres. The HSE suffered badly from wind noise,it had the full front bars plus 2 quite high cross bars in the raised roof section. It was a windy day.
