This is how I got shiny...

Also fitted my recently arrived Tred Pro recovery boards...
All ready to do some more of this...

Clay bar does an amazing job, followed by wax treatment. The first clay baring took a bit of time. I just redid mine and was a lot quicker. Like you say sooth as glass.
I was previously on a full wash routine every Sat morning. Now I just wipe it over with a microfibre cloth and chemical guys quick detailer.

You're not the only one who's been at it lately Tombie. Mine got its annual scrub up last week too.
Much the same treatment - clay bar (where it was needed), a good clay wax, followed by Auto Glym polish and then Auto Glym sealant / paint protector. I even went out and bought a decent size electric polisher - there's too much sheet metal on these things to do it all by hand, (especially when you're not getting any younger).
Should be right for another year or so now. I've found that since using the Auto Glym products on it, you don't have to do much else other than wash it occasionally. Bought some Bowdens Leather stuff the other day to try on the interior - will see how that goes. Have not been overly impressed with other products I've tried on the interior.
I also use the Auto Glym mag wheel sealer on the wheels. Don't really need it now since I've fitted the Akebono pads and don't get black brake dust any more. But it still helps keep them clean and makes washing normal road grime off them a breeze.

Cheers .........
