G'day – my new obsession
G'day everyone,
Thought I'd drop a line and show you my new wheels – 2007 Discovery 3 SE TDV6. 67,000KMs, Harman/Kardon upgraded stereo, in beautiful nick. Still can't believe I've managed to jag one with such low kays on it. Short-term plans at this stage are to add a Rhino-Rack Pioneer Platform on the Backbone mounts, Safari snorkel, Front Runner drawers and get a second battery sorted.
Thoroughly enjoyed the drive back from NSW to Adelaide. The ride is awesome and the seats are just fantastic.
Today I cleaned the MAP sensor on the advice of posts here and at disco3.co.uk – it was nicely clogged up, and is nice and clean now. It does make me think that the whole inlet should be de-gunked at some stage. If that's what the sensor looks like, I can't image the rest of the throttle body is looking much cleaner!
Looking forward to a long and happy association with my new Disco!
