    Hey Ean,

I must admit I'm finding the D3 a real pleasure to drive, I've taken the long way home a couple of times already.
When I picked it up I took it straight to be serviced by the mechanic I use in Sydney just to make sure it had new oil and filters to be on the safe side.

While he was at it he cleared a number of fault codes that had been caused by a flat battery previously and believe it or not the old girl came to life power wise and ran much better.

I already have a Hawkeye for clearing the many and often recurring faults on the D2 so to be on the safe side I'll also purchase the software upgrade for the D3.

That being the case I'm more then happy as I was with D2 owners to assist any D3 owners in the area who need to reset any faults they may have with their D3's.

    cheers,
    Terry

Sorry for the repeated message, not sure how that happened.

    cheers,

Well done mate, I hope she serves you well and you'll see what we've all been banging on about for so long.

To your point though....I don't think there has ever been a question on any Discovery's ability to handle itself....

    Cheers,

    Kev.

My fellow D3 owners and I won't be bullied by you scummy D2 owners trying to tell us what kind of photo's we should take of our pride and joys ...I'll take girly happy snaps of the D3 parked in the back paddock if I want to.

I have far greater challenges to overcome at the moment like trying to figure out how the GPS works and what is the best car polish to use to keep the D3 looking pretty.

    cheers,
    Terry

Is that a polite way of saying I'm 'like a dog with two dicks'... as the shoe fits I don't mind wearing it.

    cheers,
